The very first step to the building process is to contact us for a site meeting. Whether you have plans or are in the initial phases of design we believe that it is important for us to get involved early so that your expectations involving design and budget can be discussed and met. The benefit of having a builder involved in the initial phases is that it can save you time and money in the long term. Builders have the most current prices on materials and subcontractors and can give you a realistic idea of cost.
In our experience working with the architect/designer early on has meant that a strong team is built with you, whereby working together you are assured of a realistic build with an accurate budget can be achieved.
Once you have an idea of the design you are after and a budget, the architect/designer will produce plans. During this phase contact is made with an engineer and building surveyor. After plans have been produced along with a planning permit, we will provide you with a quote outlining in detail the cost of your project.
While the permits and paperwork are underway this is a great time to start thinking about your fixtures/fittings/finishes. If you are unsure or would like some extra assistance, we have interior designers we can recommend.
After you have chosen your specifications, we will go through the quote making sure that your selections remain within the initial budget. After you are happy with the quote a contract is drawn up ready for you to sign.
Works on your new home, extension or renovation begin. Through this phase we are always available and hold regular site meetings to make sure you are aware of the progress and have the opportunity to make changes, improvements or discuss your budget. Communication throughout the construction phase is most important and therefore all of our trades are aware of this key value in our company.
Works are complete and your project is handed over. Although we have left site we are always available should you need us.
